This major is nested completely within the Geography major (i.e., all courses in this concentration also fulfill some of the requirements for the Geography major). As such, a student completing this major could switch to a major in Geography and apply all the completed Geography courses to that major. What makes it different is the requirement of two minors (of the students’ choosing) which are coupled with the University Studies - Geography courses. Essentially, this major offers students a broad perspective of the Earth as human habitat, while permitting them to complete two supporting minors in other disciplines.
