The Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness combines selected Core Business Knowledge classes from a degree in business with coursework emphasizing the understanding of the unique institutional and managerial challenges facing agribusiness firms. By integrating business management principles with applied technical knowledge, students develop practical decision-making skills to address challenges facing agribusiness firms in the production, processing and distribution of food and fiber in Texas, the nation, and the world. Students are prepared to work in both traditional agribusinesses and non-agricultural companies. Students in the BS Agribusiness degree program will take selected coursework in the Mays Business School.
