There is a great need for teachers of agricultural science on a state and national level.  The agricultural science program allows a student to experience teaching in a high school program of agricultural science.  Students choose coursework from four general areas (Animal Science, Agricultural Systems, Plant and Soil Science, and Agricultural Economics) to pair with education courses that are offered in conjunction with the College of Education and Human Development. Through this program, you are certified as a teacher in the State of Texas.
