The Texas A&M Career Center invites life science, physical science and geoscience companies and graduate and professional schools to participate in the 14th annual Sciences Career Fair. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet undergraduate and graduate students from 73 science majors at Texas A&M University. See List of Science Majors & Degrees (PDF).
Through challenging courses and lab work, many of these students have acquired strong laboratory skills. Texas A&M students have also participated in a variety of extracurricular activities that have enabled them to develop strong communication and leadership skills.
Undergraduate and graduate students will be interested in internships and full-time opportunities as well as graduate and professional school opportunities. Remember, you do not need to have immediate job openings to attend this event.
Registration:
- Early Bird Registration: $200.00. Deadline: August 10, 2012
- Registration: $225.00. Deadline: September 7, 2012
Space is limited; therefore, reservations will be taken on a first-come basis.
Each registration includes a continental breakfast, buffet lunch and refreshments throughout the day for 2 representatives, and a 30"X6' skirted booth. Let us know, on your registration, if you need electricity at your booth. Wireless internet access will be available. Please be aware that participants are responsible for their parking cost.

Payment:
After your registration is submitted, within a week you will receive an invoice and a link for online payment at the Aggie Marketplace. Online payment may be by credit card or ACH check. Payment may also be completed by paper check. The Texas A&M University Tax ID # is 74-6000531.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations can be made by September 9, 2012 with a refund. There will be no refunds for cancellations made on or after September 11, 2012.

DAY OF THE SCIENCES CAREER FAIR SCHEDULE (Thursday, September 13, 2012)
- 8:00am-10:00am: The two closest parking garages to the Memorial Student Center (MSC) are the University Center Parking Garage (UCG) or West Campus Garage. If you park in West Campus Garage, a van will transport you to the Memorial Student Center. You may unload your materials in the drive-up lane in front of the building. Students will assist you in transporting your materials inside.
- 8:30am: Registration begins at the Registration Desk - MSC Bethancourt Ballroom rm 2300.
- 8:30am-10:30am: Continental Breakfast buffet served near the Registration Desk.
- 10:00am: Career Fair begins.
- 11:30am-1:30pm: Buffet lunch in MSC Gates Ballroom rm 2400.
- 3:00pm: Career Fair Ends - Please return name badges and evaluations when you leave.

Your packages will be at your booth when you arrive for the Career Fair. If you wish to ship materials back to your company, bring a pre-printed shipping label with you. We will arrange pick-up for any boxes left at the booths.
Parking
A parking pass is NOT included in the registration fees. Parking is the responsibility of each participant. For convenience, it is recommended that you park in either the University Center Garage or the West Campus Garage. See Campus Area Map or WCG map for directions.
Parking Procedures:
University Center Garage (UCG) - $15/day maximum:
The Visitor entrance is located on Throckmorton Street.
Pull a ticket to enter the garage and park in any unmarked space on the first two levels. Parking in other areas may result in a ticket and/or towing of your vehicle. Pay before exiting at the ticket booth located on the first floor of the Koldus Building. You will be given an exit ticket.
If the University Garage is FULL, proceed to the West Campus Garage which is located at Olsen and John Kimbrough Blvd. See Campus Area Map or WCG map for directions.
West Campus Garage (WCG) - $15/day maximum:
The Visitor entrance is located on John Kimbrough near Olsen Blvd.
Visitors must pull a ticket to enter the West Campus garage and may park in any available space. Pay before exiting at one of the 3 pay stations or in the exit lane by credit card only
Pay stations are located in the northeast corner of the garage on the lower level (nearest to MSC and passageway and accept cash or credit), and in the southwest corner on the first level (nearest to the Rec Center and accepts credit only). The pay in lane option is a new service which provides the customer quick and easy payment by credit card when exiting the garage.
A shuttle van will be located near the WCG entrance, at John Kimbrough and Olsen Blvd., to transport participants to and from the Memorial Student Center (MSC). Be aware that you may have to wait a few minutes while others are being transported. It is recommended that you bring an umbrella in case of rain.
If you are lost or encounter a problem the morning of the event, you may contact the Career Center main number (979) 845-5139. We are located on the 2nd Floor of the Koldus Building, which is adjacent to the University Center Garage and across the street from the Rudder Complex and MSC.

From North Austin: ( Detailed Directions --> )
- 290 E to Highway 21.
- East on Highway 21 to Highway 47 (on outskirts of Bryan near Texas A&M Riverside Campus). You will exit to the right onto Highway 47.
- Head East on Hwy 47. As you near College Station, Hwy 47 curves strongly to the left, and you will enter Raymond Stotzer Parkway (FM 60).
- Continue on Raymond Stotzer Pkwy. (FM 60) past the airport.
- Exit to the right onto Harvey Mitchell Parkway (FM 2818).
- Turn left at the first light onto George Bush Drive. Continue on George Bush, crossing Wellborn Rd. and the railroad tracks.
- Turn left onto Coke Street.
- Turn left on Joe Routt Blvd., continue for 1 block.
- Turn left on Throckmorton.
- The University Center Garage entrance will be on your right. Take a ticket as you enter the garage and park in any unmarked space on the first two levels.
