AggieLaunch Fees

Tell me about the Career Center fees...

Doesn't my tuition pay for the Career Center?
No- we receive no funding from either tuition or the Student Service fees.

What is the difference between AggieLaunch Basic and AggieLaunch Premium fees?
  • Basic offers subscriber membership to a variety of online resources ($25 per semester).
  • Premium includes all Basic services, plus the ability to upload and send your resume to companies recruiting Aggies ($50 per semester).

What do the fees pay for?
Although the fees are tied to the AggieLaunch system, they support all services of the Career Center:
  • Professional resume guidance and critique. Market value = $50 to $100.
  • Personalized career advising with expert staff. Take advantage of 300 years of combined career services experience and 250 years of corporate experience!
  • Staff salaries for Career Coordinators for Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, and Life Sciences; specialized services for Graduate Students, Student Athletes, and Former Students; staff support for Education, Architecture, and Geosciences.
  • Membership access to well known career websites. Did you know that an individual Gold Membership to vault.com would cost you $45/6 months, plus occupation/industry guides at $30 each and wetfeet.com would charge you $20+ per guide? All this and more is included in your AggieLaunch Basic or Premium Membership.
  • Career testing with SIGI3, on-line assessment tool to help you choose a major or career path.
  • Technology for campus recruiting contact information and access to over 1,600 employers per year who want to hire Aggies (AggieLaunch Premium).
  • Workshops and events tailored to majors or careers (Careers with the U.S. Department of State, Life Sciences Career Panel); workshops to help you get the job you want (Interviewing, Business Etiquette, Networking).
  • Aggie Network connections for networking and advice.
