After each work term, the completed "Student Evaluation of Co-op Work Experience" form should be turned-in to the co-op office.
Contact Your Employer
Send your current A&M address and phone number to your employer so they can contact you. You should contact your employer by the fifth week of classes to confirm future work terms. See sample Return-to-Work Notification.
Thank You Letter After the Last Work Term
Write a letter thanking your employer for the Cooperative Education experiences gained. Be certain that your employer is aware of your graduation date and interest, if any, in full-time employment.
Applying for the Cooperative Education Certificate
Come to the Cooperative Education Office and apply for the certificate during the semester of graduation. You must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the certificate:
- Complete three work terms (not to include two summer semesters).
- Receive passing grades on all Cooperative Education Reports.
- Complete and return the Follow-Up Evaluation Questionnaire prior to graduation. (Pick up the questionnaire in the Cooperative Education Office when applying for the certificate).
