English is a broad field with many job opportunities.  Students have many options they can pursue such as advanced degrees in education communication, law, business, medicine or religion.  There are positions available to English majors in editing and publishing, technical and creative writing, journalism, marketing and sales, training and human resources, public relations, communication media, and related areas of business, industry, government, and non-profit organizations.
