Meeting and talking to business representatives can be challenging
for everyone. Career Fairs provide a more relaxed setting for students to grow
comfortable in doing this. Students can expand their network by meeting Career
Fair representatives, many of them Former Students visiting the campus to hire
Aggies.
The Career Center conducts "Career Fair Networking" programs each semester.
During these programs, employers suggest how students can effectively utilize a
Career Fair for their job search. Students should watch the Calendar of Events
on the Career Center website for upcoming dates for this program. Also, students
may want to review an article appearing in Job Choices 2003 published by the
National Association of Colleges and Employees (NACE).
