- Register with AggieLaunch and complement this with your individual efforts.
- Identify skills you can offer employers that align with their needs.
- Attend career fairs relevant to your interests
- Renew membership and maintain leadership roles in student organizations
- Maintain relationships with academic advisor, faculty and mentor(s)
- Select faculty and administrators to act as references
- Use the Career Center Resource Library to research job search strategies and potential employers.
- Utilize The Aggie Network resources to find access to hiring authorities.
- Send resume and cover letters and follow-up with telephone calls.
- Take graduate or professional school entrance exams.
- Evaluate offers and write letters to accept or decline a position.
- Inform the Career Center if you accepted a position.
- Update file of career-related projects and references
