Each person is unique and each resume should be unique, as well. For
many students, a standard resume format is sufficient. However, for
certain industries, particular information or formatting style is
preferred. Following are examples of typical resumes for both general and
specific disciplines.
Remember, these are only samples. Your resume should reflect your
special experiences and skills, and should not be a copy of either the examples
given, or a duplicate of your classmate's. The job search is competitive,
and your resume should highlight your individual background to interest a
potential employer.
For assistance in the process, or for a review of your completed resume, the
Career Center has walk-in advising from 8:30am-11:00am and from 1:30pm-4:00pm,
in 209 Koldus.
