Who we are!
The Career Center manages campus recruiting for Texas A&M University. The Career Center staff coordinates on-campus interviewing, provides career education, and offers experiential education opportunities (i.e. co-op education, internships, and externships) for our students. Through the Career Coordinators and advisors, we provide targeted career services to the colleges, graduate students, student athletes, and former students.
Since 2000, the Career Center has coordinated nearly 128,000 interviews and 3,600 presentations for some 4,000 employers. During this same period, we processed 700,000 resume submissions for over 32,000 students.
One of the largest programs of its kind in the nation, the Texas A&M University Career Center has received National and Regional recognition for its many Best Practices, including the Mock Interview Program, Career Coordinators, Parents Website and Guide, Former Student Career Services, and Athletic Career Services.
Location
The Career Center is conveniently located for students and employers in Suite 209 of the Koldus Building. Offices for most of the staff are located here; the exceptions being the Career Coordinator for Mays Business School (Room 238 of the Wehner Building) and the Assistant Director for Athletic Career Services (Room 291 of the Bum Bright Athletic Complex).
The Career Center has 31 interview rooms available for on-campus interviewing. In addition, at peak interviewing activity (October, November, February, and March) we utilize as many as 45 skyboxes at Kyle Field thanks to the hospitality of skybox ticket holders (typically former students and friends of the University), the Athletic Department, and the 12th Man Foundation.
