The Career Center is committed to serving all students at
Texas A&M, regardless of whether or not they can come to the Career Center.
We have the following resources available that you may find useful. If there are
any resources that we can add or improve to better serve our distance education
students, please contact us. You are also welcome to come to the Career Center
any time you are on campus.
Email Advising
If you have any kind of career question,
simply email advisor@careercenter.tamu.edu.
Depending on your question, your email will be directed to the advisor that can
best help you and they will then contact you directly. Advisors are available
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We will be happy to review
resumes and cover letters via email, as well as provide advising on any career
topic. More specific contact information is available in our staff directory.
AggieLaunch
AggieLaunch Premium gives you access to
employers that want to hire Aggies. Employers from all over the
nation post positions in AggieLaunch and in many cases, use it to schedule
events and interviews. You also have access to contact information for hundreds
of employers. You may need to work directly with the employer to arrange an
interview if you are not able to come to the Career Center, but in many
cases, employers will conduct interviews via conference call. If we can help
facilitate that, please just give us a call at 979-845-5139.
We subscribe to several nationally recognized electronic
resources, all available to you through your AggieLaunch membership.
Resources like Perfect Interview, Wetfeet, Vault and CareerSearch, available in
both Premium and Basic, may prove useful to you.
