students don't do their homework before an interview. One
company CEO recommends that you spend at least as much time studying for an
interview as you would for a major exam because, ultimately, isn't that job or
internship as important as an exam?
If you are researching a company to prepare for an interview, there are
certain questions you should try to answer long before you go
to the interview. Gather information about their products, company culture,
competitors, reputation, history, location, whether they are public or private,
are they international or national-know as much as you can about the company
before you interview with them.
There are a variety of ways to research any company – Google, WetFeet, Vault,
CareerBuilder, Monster, online publications, the organization’s website, etc.
Many of these resources can be accessed only by paying for a
subscription or do not offer individual subscriptions, but can be accessed
