One of the few majors of its kind in the nation, this major focuses on writing, editing, publications production, public relations, and web communications. Students in this program gain real-world knowledge in print, broadcast, and web communications. Graduates are prepared to work in news/magazine, broadcast, public relations, advertising, or multimedia. Some will work in fields of digital cable and satellite communications.
