Portal Workshops

This workshop will prepare Aggies to apply to medical or dental school in the summer of 2026, for fall 2027 matriculation. The sections and use of the PGSA Portal will be covered, and general information on what applicants can be doing between now and the applications opening in May 2026.

Re-Applicant and Former Student Portal Workshop

This workshop will prepare Aggies to re-apply to medical or dental school in summer 2025, for fall 2026 matriculation. If you are a re-applicant or if you graduated in August 2024 or earlier, you are not required to attend a workshop, but it is strongly encouraged.

Specifically we will be discussing the letters of evaluation, the GPSA Portal, creating a personal timeline, and important dates. Additionally, presenting yourself as a better applicant will be emphasized.

GPSA Portal Office Hours

With the PGSA Portal deadlines rapidly approaching, these Q&A drop-ins will support EY 2026 applicants utilizing this resource through addressing inquiries and reduce time for those requests sent to [email protected]. Event is come-and-go. Held through out March.

Reference Letters

If your letter writer is not going to meet the deadline, the letter writer will need to email our office at [email protected] as soon as possible request an extension. The student cannot make this request for them; only the letter writer may request an extension.

Sample Letter – we have provided a sample letter that offers helpful formatting and content tips, but in no way supercedes the letter writer’s judgment or preferences. Letters should be dated, signed, and on official letterhead.

If you have trouble logging in or have any questions regarding the portal, please email [email protected]

Use this handout for information on how to send letters to TMDSAS, AACOMAS/AADSAS or to AMCAS.
