Discover Career Opportunities: Attend Career Fairs

As a Texas A&M student, you have access to over 12 career fairs throughout the academic year. Regardless of your major or class year, you are welcome to attend any and all of them. These career fairs provide you with the opportunity to explore potential career paths, network with employers, and discover career opportunities. Watch our career fair prep videos, and plan to attend one of the Career Center's Career Fair Prep workshops or meet with your Career Advisor to determine your Career Fair Plan of Action. The Day of the Career Fair

Arrive early, so you have enough time to plan your strategy for visiting the employers, check your appearance, get a drink of water, and silence your phone. Review your cheat sheet before visiting each company to review the important points you found while doing your research. Meet with the employers, firmly shake their hands, make eye contact, and share your key points, including your knowledge of their organization and what you can contribute as a potential employee. Take frequent breaks to review your notes, plan any follow-up actions, and collect your thoughts for the next meeting.
