You can also participate in virtual mock interviews, use helpful online resources and tools, and take career assessments.

VMock is an automated resume reviewing tool that provides you with an aggregate resume score to assess the strength of your resume, detailed feedback on your resume’s content and format, and actionable and targeted feedback. The tool is backed by machine learning and an algorithm that scores your resume based on best practices shared with us from recruiters from every industry.

Texas A&M current students have free access to LinkedIn Learning using your Texas A&M NetID. With over 13,000 courses available on desktop or mobile devices, personalized training, project files and quizzes, you can learn at their own pace. Completing courses and adding the certificates to your LinkedIn profile can help you showcase new skills and become a more competitive candidate for job opportunities.

Sigi3 is a career assessment and information database that provides a list of potential career options aligned with your strengths and interests. It takes an introductory look at all the major factors affecting your career choice, including your interests, abilities, values and personality.

Career Finder is a tool that helps you determine your interests and values and how they relate to the world of work. It identifies various roles that might interest you, highlights careers you might want to explore and connects you to available opportunities in our online system. Access this resource through HireAggies.

GoinGlobal offers career guides and a global key employer directory that are continually updated. The research tool contains over 10,000 resources for finding employment in the US and abroad, including job search resources, employment opportunities and trends, business resources and networking groups, work permits and visa regulations, cost of living and compensation information and corporate culture. Vault offers unique career content, including carefully researched and continually updated “insider” information for more than 6,000 companies, 200 industries, and 400 professions. You can find sample interview questions tailored to careers you’re interested in, career guidance based on industry experts and company reviews that you’re interested in.
