Duties: I have the pleasure of serving as Director of Professional School Advising for many years. I came to Texas A&M as a student, graduating in 1982, and loved the area so much that I stayed! I did my master's work in Exercise Technology and graduated again in 1984. I began a full-time job on campus and while working I began a Ph.D. program in Higher Education Administration and graduated once again in 1994. I soon began working in Professional School Advising and have seen this grow by leaps and bounds with adding advising for other health professions (as well as continuing to serve more and more current and Former students). I especially enjoy the background and growth of the staff.

The advising team of Professional School Advising is dedicated to helping students throughout the pursuit of a profession, whether it be law or in the health care arena. Our team has been complimented many times of the quality and professionalism of our students, yet we really can't take credit - it is our students who shine! My current family consists of my husband, three pups, and 20+ cows. I do have three grandchildren, thanks to my daughter and son-in-law, as well as a son who is an Aggie '16. He is the superintendent of a new golf course he helped develop in the heart of Houston.
