Attending a career fair at Texas A&M is a great way to expand your brand and meet Aggie talent. A majority of our career fairs are hosted by student organizations in collaboration with the Career Center.
An internship is a career-related work experience usually lasting one semester, often occurring during the summer. Internships should be a carefully monitored learning experience for the student - assignments appropriate to the student's educational level and related to their field of study are expected.
COOPERATIVE EDUCATION (Co-ops)
Co-op is an educational program which provides students with a structured and progressive work experience, combining semesters of on-campus coursework with paid, practical experience. Co-op students are paid during their work assignments, and also receive academic credit.
During a co-op, some students alternate employment with semesters at TAMU (ex: Fall at work, Spring at A&M, Summer at work), many work back-to-back semesters (ex: Spring & Summer or Summer & Fall), and others work single semester work terms prior to returning to school.

The Texas A&M Career Center has a strong social media presence. With one of the highest number of followers on Instagram among college career centers in the country, your organization’s content will gain broad exposure among our students and alumni. This opportunity allows your University Recruiter, or another member of your team to 'takeover' the @tamucareercenter Instagram account to highlight your company culture, job and internship opportunities, and current employees or projects. Instagram takeovers are only offered to our employer partners.
We host several Resume Review Days throughout the year to help students prepare for the career fairs. During these events, employer volunteers can interact one-on-one with students and provide feedback on their resumes. It's a great way to engage with students before the career fairs.
