Duties: Clarissa is originally from El Cenizo, a small border town in south Texas. She has always loved the Aggie Spirit and the core values of Texas A&M University. Her family moved to the B/CS area in 2023 and are absolutely thrilled to be a part of this amazing community.
Clarissa started her administrative journey with her Business Administration studies at Texas A&M International University. Before joining the Career Center, she was employed with a local security company, International Electrical & Security, Inc., as the Office Manager, handling payroll, HR, employee scheduling, contract management, and client relationships. Clarissa has a robust background in administrative supportive roles, working as an Administrative Assistant/Interim Executive Assistant at Gateway Community Health Center, Inc. from 2015-2018. In 2018, her family moved to Kingsville, TX where she began her career with Texas A&M University Health Science Center, working for the Coastal Bend Health Education Center, Diabetes Education Program, as an Administrative Associate I (2018-2020). In 2020, she continued her career with HSC at the Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy as an Administrative Associate IV for the Pharmaceutical Sciences department (2020-2022).
Clarissa is excited to continue her career with Texas A&M in her new role as Administrative Coordinator I for the Career Center and hopes to grow and thrive with the department. In her free time, Clarissa enjoys going on walks, reading, listening/dancing to music, cooking and, above all, spending time with her kids (Myra, Alyssa, Evalyn, Estella, and Henry) and her husband, Henry.
