GETTING STARTED

1. Make an appointment with your Career Advisor to start the career development process, and learn how to use all the career resources available to you at Texas A&M University.

2. Define your interests (SIGI3 and Career Finder) and research to see what career opportunities are available that leverage your interests (Career Explorer).  All these can be found by going to our HireAggies system.

3. Spend time reflecting about your experiences, create a professional resume and have it reviewed by a member of the Career Center staff.

4. Complete your HireAggies account to access job postings, employer contacts, recruiting events, AggiExternships and more.

5. Find professionals (use Career Shift, Aggie Network, LinkedIn) within your fields of interest and do informational interviews to learn more about different careers and to gain advice
