    The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Music Performance provides musicians with the comprehensive skill set essential for developing traditional and original musical performances while fostering artistic collaboration and innovation.  Coursework includes instruction in music performance, interdisciplinary collaboration, music technology, music entrepreneurship, and global and popular music studies. The combination of courses blending tradition with front-line innovation encourage creative ways of thinking about performance, innovative ways of integrating music performance in social engagements, creative applications of music performance and technology, and flexible interdisciplinary skills. Skills developed through course applications encourage innovation in problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, time management, stress management, communication and social competency. Students are guided in transferring acquired marketable skills to the contemporary workplace, balancing preparation for professional musical careers with personal and artistic fulfillment.
