  • University Studies - Mathematics for Secondary Teaching

    The Mathematics for Secondary Teaching area of concentration consists of courses in mathematics and education to prepare students to become secondary certified teachers in mathematics. In particular, the courses chosen encompass the mathematical areas tested by the State of Texas and TexES secondary mathematics exam. Students in this major are also required to complete two minors including (A) Applied Learning in STEM Education and (B) Choose from the list of university-approved minors.
